I never know what to write in the "biography" section.
I'm a well educated artist who pays the mortgage by selling real estate. I left NYC several years ago for a more simple life in my hometown in the midwest. I have a wonderful husband, a graphic artist. No kids.
My training is as a lighting designer for the theater. I also design sets and have recently found myself receiving cudos for directing. Painting - scenic painting, watercolor, acrylic, is something I work at, though I wouldn't consider myself accomplished. I have been exploring re-purposed art for a few years,(an off-shoot from the vintage and antiques buisness I have as a side job). Lately I have discovered "Cloth, Paper Scissors" magazine and am exploring some of the fiber/textile arts and projects found there.
Devoted Christian. My religious journey influences me at work, at play and in my art.
